About Glenda

Glenda is a mother, animal lover, and storyteller who believes love is something we practice, not just something we feel.

She grew up in a small farming community, where animals were part of everyday life. From an early age, she learned that caring for another living being teaches patience, empathy, and quiet strength. These lessons stayed with her into adulthood and motherhood.

Today, Glenda is a stay-at-home mom to her two sons, Lennox and Hendrix. Much of her writing is inspired by real moments shared with her children, moments that ask for compassion, responsibility, and courage.

Writing From Real Life

Glenda writes in quiet pockets of time, often in the early mornings after the school run. Her stories grow slowly, shaped by lived experience rather than imagination alone.

  • Real Moments
  • Practicing Love
Life with two boys and a heart for animals is rarely tidy. Glenda finds the beauty in the "grit" -the scraped knees, the early chores, and the difficult questions.
For Glenda, love isn't a passive emotion; it's a verb. From chaotic school mornings to quiet animal care, she sees every moment as a practice in compassion. Her writing is simply the mirror held up to those moments.
